How to Harden Off Cabbage
Begin 7–10 days before transplanting. Gradually expose seedlings to outdoor conditions:
- Day 1–2: 2–3 hours of shade
- Day 3–4: 4–5 hours sun, protected from wind
- Day 5–7: Full sun, leave out overnight if no frost expected
Water regularly and avoid stress during this transition.
